International St. Moritz Motoring Week with the Kilomètre Lancé event nominated as the best motoring event in the world
The Kilomètre Lancé, organised under the umbrella of the International St. Moritz Motoring Week from 2 to 4 September, has been nominated for the Historic Motoring Awards 2022 in the category "Motoring Event". This is the only award given worldwide for outstanding achievements in the classic car industry.

The Kilomètre Lancé, organised under the umbrella of the International St. Moritz Motoring Week from 2 to 4 September, has been nominated for the Historic Motoring Awards 2022 in the category "Motoring Event". This is the only award given worldwide for outstanding achievements in the classic car industry.
A 35-member jury, including US TV star and classic car collector Jay Leno, Pebble Beach chairwoman Sandra Button and Italian architect and classic car gourmet Corrado Lopresto, will nominate five candidates for victory from all events worldwide. Attended by numerous industry personalities, the final announcement of the winners will take place at The Londoner on Wednesday 16 November 2022. A worthy setting for these special awards, which will be attended by the founder of the St. Moritz Automobilwoche, Kurt Engelhorn.
The nomination alone is a minor sensation and the Kilomètre Lancé team, under the management of Solitude GmbH, would like to express its sincere thanks once again to all those involved in this context, first and foremost the municipalities of St. Moritz and Samedan, Engadin Airport, the partners and sponsors, the helpers and, above all, all the participants whose commitment and enthusiasm for the traditional acceleration race have made this special motorsport festival into this unique event.
